Ten public transport staff have died after testing optimistic for coronavirus.
London mayor Sadiq Khan stated that they had all died in the previous few days.
Eight have been bus staff, one working for Transport for London and one other working for London Underground.
It’s understood 5 bus staff have been from the London community.
The mayor stated he was “completely devastated” and urged all Londoners to solely use public transport if completely important.
He stated: “They’re in my ideas and prayers, and my condolences to their households.
“It reminds us really, one of many heroic frontline staff are transport staff.
