Dame Esther Rantzen has mentioned she has become a “nation mouse” after shifting out of London.
The broadcaster and Childline founder informed Howdy! journal she has left the capital to reside within the New Forest in Hampshire.
She mentioned her grandchildren “fill my coronary heart” and luxuriate in spending time at her nation dwelling.

“Having been a Londoner all my life, I believed I used to be hooked on the thrill, the theatres and the eating places however the city mouse has become a rustic mouse,” she mentioned.
“The New Forest was my magic place after I was a baby and the grandchildren discover it as magical as I did.
“It’s a unprecedented forest, the place the ponies, pigs, cows and sheep roam free.”

She mentioned her backyard offers “infinite potentialities of disguise and search, planting sunflowers or discovering a hen’s egg that’s fallen out of a nest”.
