Person dies after being electrocuted on train tracks

An individual has died after being electrocuted on railway tracks close to to London Bridge.

British Transport Police (BTP) was known as to studies of an off-duty officer needing help at just after 5.30am on Wednesday (March 25).

As officers went to assist, a person went onto the tracks and sustained “critical accidents” from “electrocution”, BTP mentioned.

Paramedics attended the incident however the individual was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

A BTP spokesman mentioned: “We had been known as to London Bridge station at round 5.30am this morning, following a report of an off-duty officer requiring help.
