It’s with nice disappointment that we announce the passing of our mom Lenore London Cooney. Mother was in a position to keep in her residence and was fiercely unbiased to the top.
Lenore was born in Ogden, Utah to Hillman and Ethel Taylor London. She attended Ogden Excessive and Weber State School. She met John L. Cooney Jr. on a blind date. They had been later married within the Salt Lake Temple. They had been an amazing group and labored extraordinarily nicely collectively.
She was a tough employee. She labored for Paramount Ice Cream and IRS, the place she labored for 20 years. She spent a few years taking good care of Dad’s books at Cooney’s Machine Store.
She had many hobbies which included, golf, bridge, needlepoint and crochet. She was an avid reader, wonderful cook dinner and gracious hostess.
Dad handed in 2011 and Mother actually missed him day-after-day. She was additionally preceded in demise by her mother and father, siblings George, Mary Alice, Dorothy, Pat and her favourite son-in-law Melvin Kendell.
Mother is survived by her kids John III (Sandra) Cooney, Lorrie Kendell and Chris (Shauna) Cooney, 12 grandchildren, 28 nice grandchildren, sister Cheryl (Jed) Hammon and brother Mike (Peggy) London.
She lately stated of her life, “We had a superb life, an actual good life. We had been very lucky.”
Funeral providers can be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden UT. Greet the household at 9:30 a.m. Companies can be held at 10:00 A.M. Interment can be on the Ogden Metropolis Cemetery.
